Event Video Production in NYC

An event happens once. There is no second take.

That fact shapes how OnePointFive Studio works. We are a New York production studio covering live events every week — club nights, brand activations, galas, product launches — since 2018. The crew that shows up to your event did this last week, in a room like yours.

Built for rooms without second takes

Coverage is a plan, not a camera in the back. Before doors we walk the space: light, stage, entry, bar, where the sound board lives. We agree on the moments that cannot be missed, then build positions around them.

Dark rooms and loud rooms are our default conditions, not edge cases. Most of our calendar is nightlife and live hospitality — venues where the light changes every four bars and nobody repeats a toast for camera.

Crews stay lean. Two shooters who know the run of show beat five who don't. Fewer bodies, cleaner angles, less friction with your guests. When a night runs across multiple rooms, teams split and reconvene on a plan set before doors.

What lands after the night

Recap film. 60–120 seconds. The night, compressed — for your site, your inbox, next year's invitation.

Vertical reels. 15–30 seconds, cut for Instagram and TikTok.

Cutdowns. Shorter recap versions for paid media and partner channels.

Stills. Frames pulled from footage or shot alongside it.

Delivery runs social-first: vertical cuts land while the event is still being tagged, with the full recap on a timeline agreed before the shoot. If a deliverable is not named in the scope, it is not planned — so we name everything in writing. For what moves cost up or down, see What affects event video production cost in NYC.

For agencies and planners

We slot into your run of show and deliver in your format. Same crew standard, same delivery structure, every booking — built for repeat work, not one-offs. The work shows the range.

Clients include Moët Hennessy USA and TAO Group.

Where AI fits

Previsuals before the event, so stakeholders see the film before it exists. Format extension after, so one night feeds more channels. The camera in the room stays human. Full picture: AI Video Production in NYC.

How it works

  1. Brief. Run of show, the three moments that matter most, who must be on camera.
  2. Plan. Crew size, positions, audio source, delivery list — set in writing.
  3. The night. Quiet work. Atmosphere as the room fills, the program, and the in-between where the best footage usually lives.
  4. Delivery. Social-first order, then the full set.

FAQ

How many shooters does an event need?

Depends on rooms and program. A panel can run on one camera. A launch with a stage and a crowd wants multi-cam. We scope from the run of show, not a package chart.

Can you shoot dark venues — clubs, concerts, late nights?

That is our home ground. We work available light when it serves the room and bring lighting when it does not.

How fast do first cuts arrive?

Social-first: vertical cuts land first, on a timeline agreed before the event. The full recap follows on its own agreed date.

Do you travel outside New York?

Yes. Based in NYC, we travel for the right brief.

Who owns the final files?

Ownership and usage rights are defined in writing before production starts — scope, channels, and duration.
