Restaurant Video Production in NYC
Real dishes in motion. Shot by us, or built from the photos you already have.
A restaurant's video problem is not one video. Menus change. Seasons turn. The feed needs new material every week, and a full crew for every post is not a real budget. OnePointFive Studio is a New York production studio working in hospitality since 2018. We shoot the food and the room for real — or start from photography you already own — and use an AI production line to turn either into a month of material.
What we make
Menu and dish films. Close, textured, appetite-first. Shot on real plates the kitchen actually sends out.
Photo-to-motion clips. Your existing photography, turned into moving posts through our AI line. The fastest, lightest way to start.
Room and atmosphere reels. The service, the bar, the noise of a full night. This is the footage that sells a reservation.
Openings and launches. New locations, chef collaborations, press nights — covered as live events, because that is what they are.
Vertical cuts at volume. Instagram and TikTok formats, batched from every shoot or photo set.
Real plates, AI motion
We do not invent your food. Every clip starts from real material — footage we shoot, or photos you provide. Appetite comes from real texture, and a generated dish reads as fake instantly. What AI does well is everything after the plate: motion, formats, versions, seasonal swaps. One shoot day, or one folder of good photos, feeds weeks of posting. For the full production line, see AI Video Production in NYC.
Works at any scale
One room or ten. For multi-location groups we build one style system — framing, grade, pacing — so every location reads as one brand.
Clients include Moët Hennessy USA and TAO Group.
How it works
- Start. Send your Instagram and what you want to move — covers, bookings, a launch.
- Path. Photos you already have become AI motion clips, fast. A shoot day adds dish and atmosphere coverage. Many start with the first and grow into the second.
- Production. Lean crew when we shoot — in and out without breaking your line. Review gates when we generate.
- Delivery. Films, verticals, stills — the set agreed in writing. A monthly cadence is available for feeds that post weekly.
When cameras, when AI
Cameras: the room, the people, the night, and dishes at their best. AI: motion from stills, versions, formats, seasonal variants, concept promos. Most restaurant briefs use both — the AI side is what makes weekly posting affordable. For what moves cost in either direction, see What affects event video production cost in NYC.
FAQ
Can you work from photos we already have?
Yes. Good photography becomes motion clips through our AI line. No shoot day required to start.
Is the food real?
Yes. AI never invents a dish. Every clip starts from real material — footage we shoot or photos you provide.
Do you shoot during service or after close?
Both. Dish work is cleaner in closed hours. Atmosphere only exists during service. The shoot plan splits the day accordingly.
Can you cover multiple locations?
Yes. One style system, one crew standard, applied across every location.
What do we get from one project?
An agreed deliverable set — typically a batch of short vertical cuts, with longer films and stills when we shoot. Scope is set in writing before production.
Who owns the final files?
Ownership and usage rights are defined in writing before production starts — scope, channels, and duration.
